I agree with many of the points. Lotus Notes is not just about e-mail, far from it... secure business applications are the true differentiator, and they can be built quickly in many circumstances with Lotus Notes / Domino providing everything required.
Negative comments tend to come from users of older versions. New Lotus Notes versions are adding capabilities with each point release... not always big things, sometimes small valuable additions which make the difference.
Another key point is that Lotus Notes is proving itself to be extendible with other collaborative tools plugging in... again, proving that Lotus Notes is more than e-mail and ready for how people will collaborative in the future. Enjoy the journey. http://www.dadams.co.uk
